What was the first thing that came to your mind on this and why? What are your thoughts on it? =) I'm sorry I've put it in this category on purpose because I'm pretty sure there are lots of opinionated people here compared to... "home + garden", for example, lol.

Different brains will have different opinions on this.

I agree experience plays a part. Or watching someone else's experiences.

The gardening part caught my attention- years ago in a low rent apt complex, I reduced litter by planting a flower garden. I admit it was an act of desperation but it worked. Later, I did the same thing behind the buildings each afternoon, a larger project. Neighbors started helping.

It was all because I imagined I could get rid of constant litter.

At my age I am overloaded with experience but I still suffer from a severe lack of imagination.

I think there are two types of people. Those who are artistic and have imagination, and those who are practical and have less imagination.

Imagination comes from artistic creativity. It also came from John Lennon's "Imagine"

I would disagree. Religious people seem to have pretty fertile imaginations but most of them are very young. Older, more experienced people tend to have more open minds

I would think that imagination comes from inexperience, myself.
