no. controlled means with meds, and they cannot guarantee you will always have access to meds.. and you cannot be on meds during Basic Training.

Epilepsy occuring beyond the 6th birthday must have a five year history of no seizures, while not being controlled by medication, and a normal EEG. Anything other than that is disqualifying.

No. You may bein a spotwhere you areout of meds and cannot get any for a while.
Beiong dependent on any kind of medication is usually gronds for disqualification.
