I was thinking of naming him Joe Cocker Spaniel, but my GF
doesen't like it.
It's her dog and It's a male,Something witty preferred but all
considered. Thanks in advance.

I got a puppy in March and had such a hard time picking a name. I don't think the color or type of dog really matters. It is all about what you like. Everyone will always have their opinion but when it comes down to it, it is your dog :) There are so many puppy name websites. I would write down a few and go back and forth. I ended up naming her Libby. (Liberty Belle) It fit her perfectly once I had her in my arms. Good luck!!

I don't know if this will help at all, when me and my bf got my puppy we had the same problem and at the time we just happened to be at a restaurant that served liqueur. My bf is Irish and he is always talking about the Irish culture everything is always the color green and of course our dog had to have an Irish name. And since Irish people like to drink we decided to name him bailey after Baileys Irish cream. So be created. Sit down and think of something that you and your gf both like, have in common, culture, theres a whole bunch of things. Be original. Heres some names I can give you Dakota, Max, Buta,Champ,Spanky, Skip,Shameus,Romeo,Sebastian,Benny.That's all I can think of right now good luck and enjoy your new puppy.

Jim Brass (character of CSI)

Is your girlfriend wanting your help in naming the dog? My son had a blond cocker spaniel female they named Peaches. I called her puddles for obvious reasons.
