I know this is a dumb question but i think i am going to buy one on tuesday unless it goes on a special sale friday but that is unlikely right?

I highly doubt that the PS3 will be discounted at any store. The price on the 60GB and 80GB PS3's both dropped this year by $100 and the newer 40GB PS3 is $399. I really see no reason why any store will cut the price on the PS3's, but who knows.
The PS3 is worth every penny doesn't need to be discounted. I think that the PS3 is a bargain really. Just go ahead and buy the PS3. Some awesome PS3 exclusives are already out, and more PS3 exclusives are on their way.

From all of the black friday ads I've seen there is no real special pricing for the PS3s nor the 360s from any of the big retailers.
