I like this girl who told me the other day let's have a cup of coffee sometime. She doesn't know I really have a crush on her. I don't want her to know that I have a crush on her. This might scare her off. What should I do?

Ask her when's a good time...say I am free at _____ time, does that work for you?

Sometimes you just gotta make that extra effort. When we (I mean "us girls") say stuff like that to a guy...we just don't want to seem pushy and possibly scare you off. So instead we say "sometime" in hopes that you will CALL and set something up.

I would call her sometime in the next week and ask if she wants to get a cup of coffee and let her set the time.

You can take that cup of coffee whenever you want, man. Forget for a moment the prospect of love. Whatever her feelings are toward you, she wants to meet up with you for some coffee and conversation. Call her up one day and ask her if she's free for that coffee. Tell her it's been a stressful week and you'd love to take a break and unwind. If you don't take her up on it, she might think you don't like her at all.

You should ask her out for coffee. If she offered to have coffee, that means that she is interested. Coffee is safer than dinner, etc. because it is short and sweet. That way if it doesn't go well, either of you can bail a bit early. Ask next week and not next month that might be too long.

When she says, "Let's have a cup of coffee sometime."
You could answer: "How about Saturday around 11 oclock?"
She's bound to know you like her, but maybe not that you have a crush on her. Hopefully, your relationship with her will move beyond "crush" and you won't have to worry about that at all. So set a date and time. Enjoy.

She means within the next couple of weeks. Not tomorrow. But, maybe next weekend, you could say, "Can I take you up on that cup of coffee?"

u should talk to her again and see when she has free time to have a cup of coffee, like a lunch break or something...but when u plan that date it shouldnt be on that same day...i would think it would feel kind of rushed....and what she means by 'sometime' is that she wants u to talk to her and plan something so she doesnt feel like she is doing everything to get you two to get closer

Call her up and have coffee! She obviously has extended an invite to you so set a time and place :) Keep is casual and give yourself a chance to feel things out, see what vibes you get from her. . .

Ask her for coffee. She was extending an invitation. You are the one who has to set the time.
