It might fit. A buddy of mine used to have a Honda CRX with a Nissan VG30 from the Maxima under the hood. Not the twin turbo though. It only had about an inch clearance between the top of the engine and the hood. Boy was it fast but it was front heavy.Still, the swap is really expensive and not worth the loot. Remember, your Sentra is front drive and the twin turbo is designed for a rear drive car. For the money, you can just buy a Twin Turbo 300ZX. Plus the cost of everything will be more than your Sentra is worth.

Power train may fit but what about making the sentra instrument panel to work? CUT an Audi just behind the front seats and weld it onto a sentra tail end. NISUDI is born or AUDSAN.

maybe if you want ZERO options at all, pull out your a/c and power steering, and MAYBE you could fit it in there, but i highly doubt it, because not only would the engine take up pretty much the whole engine bay, you would probably have to swap trannys too... too much work, but if you could pull it off, that would be one quick sentra

in basic terms NO! room lower than the hood and being a the front wheel motive force the altima/300zx DETT motor is to huge and no strong FWD transmission which will perform the axles. 1996 Altima is a impressive motor vehicle to leave on my own and force, at the same time as your improve your great 350Z drag race motor vehicle.
