me and my boyfriend has been together march 6th 2008 will make us 6 yrs but anyways he purposed to me feb 9th 2007 but we aint' had no plans getting married no time soon just wanna be engaged for a while but we have sex and i was wondering what do i do about that should we quit until we get married or can we keep doing that without being how you say it in sin or whatever we really love one another and plan on bein with one another in marriage just not right now someone help me out

If your both 21 or over ...why not just go get married ..........now...then you will not be living in sin.......sex is for AFTER you are married....so wait ....or go get married....I'd suggest getting married.....

My girlfriend and I have been together for almost 4yrs. I really want her to be my wife (even asked her to marry me) and I have prayed to God for direction. But we have never had sex and are waiting until we are settled in life before getting married. So just hold off till your married. You can't keep having sexing without being married without commiting sin. Actually you two should find a good church home and do things the right way and watch how blessed your lives will be, especially together.

If want to be faithful to God's word then you are to abstain from sex until marriage.
This is clear in the 10 commandments, " Thou shall not commit adultry."
Give prayer under the LORD
I Corinthians 10:13: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but god is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
James 1:12: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
II Peter 2:9: The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.

Biblically sex before marriage is a sin. Being engaged, being in love, planning to be married... none of that changes the scriptural law.

The sex was not supposed to even happen till AFTER the marriage, but if you feel something is telling you it is wrong--YOU KNOW it is GOD. Don't you?
