Hey I'm a teenager to and I like Soulja Boy but I mean how often can you watch his videos? Doesn't it get old after a while? Part of loving God is still praying to Him and going to Church even when there's other things you'd rather be doing. So I don't think it's a big deal as long as you keep God first.
P.S. Can you do the dance?

It means that you are a teen. What will displease God is when your enjoyment of Soulja Boy supersedes your interest in school, morality, and your family. Don't be a slave to someone who doesn't know you from Adam.
Have some fun, watch his video, and even tap your foot to the beat. Take some time to enjoy your hobbies, but after awhile set it aside, do your homework, spend time with your siblings, and help out your parents around the house.

No you are not worshiping him but since you believe yourself very religious take a bit of time out and go to church. It is a teenage thing to become infatuated now and then. It can be a very difficult time of life.
When you go to church try to keep an open mind. Atheists, like me are not the false prophets. False prophets, if you carefully follow your religion, come from within the religious community not from without.

God is slow to anger... Find a balance. Songs like that get old really quickly if you listen to soulja boy enough times you will get tired of all of his songs soon.

When I was a teenager, I worshipped The Beatles.
And when John Lennon did Imagine, that's it. My whole life started changing for the better.
Soulja Boy could well do the same for ya.

Yes dear. An occasional diversion is alright. But it is idol worship anytime we spend more time and place more importance upon the things of this world. At least give God His fair share in your life. He made you and wants to fellowship with you.

Do you pray to God everyday? Do you spend more time listening to soulja boy or reading your bible? You should alway put God first and give him more attention that anything else.

Yes. Music is your idol.
Anything you place in higher priority over God is an idol.
Just try to remember what God did for you! He sent his Son to die on the cross for your sins!
