This is so not a easy question to answer. If you lust after someone it says in the bible you have sinned......You have commit adultery that is in your mind (that is a fantasize).....To answer you with the killing I would have to ask some question and we can not do that....So, even if you are not Catholic you could call a priest or go to any church and talk to the minister

Anyone can have random thoughts, but fantasizing about murder is just psycho. You need to get those issues looked into professionally.
But back to the main question: There are schools of thought that include "sins of the heart" or "sins of the mind" as sins. The idea is that it is wrong to have or host or nurture such thoughts. Others feel that sin is in the performance, so you can think about sinful things as long as you do not act them out - the problem is that the more you think about things, the more likely you are to do them, so your things you are making up in your head are a serious problem.

Philosophers and psychologist agree, with the exception of a few basic reflexes and automatic body functions, all actions are rooted in thought. A person is otherwise incapable of performing an act without having first thought in some fashion of doing it and then often does not do it well without practice. For this reason they advise controlling and directing your thoughts. Those thoughts that you chose and encourage have an effect on all aspects of your life: character, circumstance, health and happiness. By exercising this control, you create yourself. Knowing and believing this you are now able to direct your own mental growth and development rather than let it be something of chance.
Simply thinking something is not the same as doing it. I can imagine myself pole vaulting but without physical practice I would not be very good. It is the same for sinful thoughts. Until it is actually done it does not exist.

I am not sure if that is a sin or not, but that is that the issue here. You should probably talk to a professional about this, you may need psychiatric treatment. You should get help while you are rational enough to realize these thoughts are wrong. You don't want to act one of these fantasies out. That would be a sin.

I'd say it's not a good idea. The Bible says that out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. Check out Matthew 12:34 and Luke 6:45. It is best not to open the door for temptation.

It's not a sin but it would be best to speak with someone you respect and trust about the thoughts your having. Especially if you know you have issues. Then you can have a way to process the thoughts your having before something happens and you act on one of your fantasies.

I have read from that says that we are responsible for every thought , word and deed. I'm not sure if you are going to have karmic debt for your thoughts. Perhaps but I would say that if you act upon your fantasies, you will end up in prison with another big person who looks at you funny like you are her date. They you will be invited to a barbecue. You will be the guest of honor.
you are not crazy. Many people have an active imagination and the TV and movies contribute to dysfunctional thoughts.
Just don't act upon them. It would be a sin to waste your life.

According to some churches, thinking about an act is the same as doing the act. So when the collection plate came around, I THOUGHT about putting money in it.
Since they'd get more enjoyment out of actual money, then I figure I should get more enjoyment out of a sin since I'm going to be punished either way.

I agree with Molten. Thinking and acting are very different things. I have the same fantasies that you do, and I enjoy thinking about them regularly. But I am smart enough to know not to actually act on my fantasies and ever kill a real person. That's the great thing about our minds; being able to dream up any situation we wish, and be whoever we wish without actually taking risks. So don't feel bad for fantasizing...Just be careful not to mix up fantasy with reality.
