I think I would be amazed just to find out whales had that level of abstract thought and communication.

But it wouldn't make the idea of gods any more credible. We already know how such beliefs evolved in our own species from the mundane.

They don't, because animal (Whales etc.) already in synch with God and nature. It's problem with human mind, which is full of garbage. Religion with in mental frame-work, where as Reality is beyond.

Well, I have a belief that in a way, we all worship the same God.

So that wouldn't change a thing, but affirm my beliefs.

Whales are God's creation too, aren't they?

hmmm, hmmmmmmmmm, okay, I thought about it and just realized, all life does worship God because they do His will. The only ones who don't worship God is many humans because they do their own will. When God told those animals to get on the ark, they got one, they obeyed and that is worship of God!!!!

Sure, it would change some people but most wouldn't care and others wouldn't believe it. It wouldn't stop people from hunting them either. It wouldn't change human nature.
