parents dont get along, selfish, manipulators in a sneaky way,

I feel it is necessary, for my well-being, to stay away from my parents as much as possible. I am 29 yrs old, with 3 kids. I am an only child and my parents were high-school lovers, never married or lived together. Both of my parents married, at least twice, to other people.
A recent specific example in terms of my relationship with my mother; is when I was in a relationship that I should'nt have been in. Horrible things happened, and my mother thought it was fitting to tell my babysitter, of all people, these things. My babysitter and I are not that close, for my mom to gossip with. Also, when i was 16, my mom though it was ok to sneak out at 2am, with my then boyfriend, to "stalk her boyfriend". She didnt tell me before hand what was going on, I just happened to wake up and watch her leave in the car with him. My mother is not a drug addict, has done ok for herself, and yet I feel she has always tried to sabotage me in an underhanded way.

My dad is non-chalant.

If I felt I needed to protect myself from them, I would keep my distance. If I had contact with them, I would keep it very simple and not share personal information which could be used against me. As to, is it okay, well, that is something you have to decide with your knowledge of them. Good luck.

I'm not sure what you mean by enstrangment, but if you are asking if it is ok to stay away from your parents, first you would have to give your age so that someone can help with your question. Are you saying that your parents don't get along with each other? Do you feel that they manipulate you? Give us more details, please.
