A frequently asked question. Seems rather self-important if you ask me. Why would any alien species want to conquer a small, insignificant world in the middle of a dead Solar System in a backwoods Galaxy?
What possible service could Earth give aliens? A common theme in fiction is them enslaving humans. But you have to figure, any Alien race which has masted interstellar travel, must have robots, and as such, human slaves wouldn't compare too well to robot servants. Resources? Well, if you like salt water, I guess I could see that, but I really doubt aliens are going to invade a world for salt water.

We human beings are of a complex society. If the military is going to "conquer" someone, intel gathering is essential to know about your "foes". If the Earth were going to conquer another world, it needs to know everything about that planet and its inhabitants. What makes you think they want to conquer our world by convential means or otherways?

If Aliens exist, why would they want to conquer our world? If they are smart enough to get here, surly they would have a purpose. Would they want our resources or people or what?
Maybe they will be intelligent enough to teach us how not to have war.

we are a protected zoo for species not found on other worlds. the only reason aliens stop here is to fool around with the easy earth chicks and use the toilet, then it's back to Uranus they go.

Aren't you paying attention to the Presidential debates and what's going on in Congress?
There's probably a landfill near Washington DC that's exclusively reserved for used-pod disposal.

maybe they arn't as violent and war going as we are.Just because we would try to conquer someone weaker than us doesn't mean that everything else out there thinks the same way
