In other words as we move on from the Evangelical phase/thrust of the past 200+ years, what do you think the church will/should focus on to succeed, or be relevant for the next few upcoming generations. Other major phases of Christianity in the past have been the Contemplative, Social Justice and Charismatic phases, which only mean that the church seemed to focus on one of these main practices during different times throughout history.

There has never been an elimination of any of these ideas throughout history, only a focus on one more than the others.

I am not sure if you guys understand my question. Or maybe you are just full of gloom and doom, thinking that the world is going to end. People have thought that for 2000 years and it hasn't happened yet. As a matter of fact, things have been a lot worse at times in the past and people thought the end was nigh then as well, but it never happened. So, now, back to reality. Assuming the church doesn't end which is a silly premise, what major phase to you see the church going to remain relevant?

Expect to see a mixture of evangelical, liturgical and charismatic expressions merge into one. Think of it as 3-Streams, or 3-Rivers moving into one river. Evangelical is all WORD oriented. Charismatics are nomadic and all SPIRIT oriented with no stability, and liturgical churches are cold and without expressions of the Holy Spirit. Look for these 3 "streams" to merge in dynamic ways and overtake their past problems and disadvantages.

I hope it's going to be a tolerant phase, where they look past the cultural influences of 2000 years ago and allow for a more modern interpretation of the scriptures.

If the current trend of evangelicalism persists, it will be the end of that religion. Not that I'd miss it, but a lot of people depend on it.

The Rapture will occur within the next hundred years or we will literly be back to the days of Noah, when only eight people were saved. Then there will be no need for a rapture. Thats why it will be soon, if Gods wants everybody to know that it occured, then He has to do it soon. Or they will never know it happened.

Europe is the leading indicator of things to come for Christianity as a whole. People are starting to see that fundamentalism leads to war, and are now moving away from it.
