Yup. That's like saying "Whatever you do, don't go into the secret closet of mystery and wonder!"
Of course we're going to read it.

I think of it like a mental/soul/spiritual paralysis when a person only wants answers from those who are of the same thought to begin with.
Perhaps possibilities other than the expected/wanted answers is a threat, selective answers provide a protection for one to remain in their current comfort zone - sadly enough even if that comfort zone may be a lie.
If that protection is needed there is something to hide?
If there is something to hide there is probably a lie?
Those who want truth welcome critical thinking and are more than happy to put an assumed truth to the test.
Truth can be twisted to deceit and hide as a lie very quickly - but a lie can never become the truth even to the ends of infinity, but it could get you dead along the way.
So yes, sometimes I do look - realizing the deceptions around us backed by thought is the only way for our next step to land on the truth. And there is no comfort as great as the solid foundation of truth.
I am not saying that any who do so are liars, not saying that at all, but where the shoe may fit... :)

I do realize the forum is public and in a legalistic sense, anyone can answer, but I try to honor the spirit of the law and not the letter if the askers request is directed to a specific group; but if I do find the question interesting I may read the response or perhaps star it if it could somehow be addressed by one of my contacts who fit the description.

If it interests me yes. Not only will I read it I will answer it if I have something to say(which is almost always!) Reasons?
- The whole "so-in-so ONLY" seems so junior high (and that was a looong time ago)
- We learn most from those who see life differently than we have.
- I have had many seasons in my life and do not fit neatly into one category...well except female, I never have been nor will I ever be a man

No, I stick my nose in. This isn't an atheist, Christian or Buddhist only forum. There are other forums that are exclusive to the religion. You could ask your question there.
But then, I might not answer it too.

Naturally. Even though curosity killed the cat, no I'm not swinging my Smudgie around, he's not dead...anyhoo, yea, and sometimes I add in my two cents with just because I want to.

Of course. Not only open it, read it, but often answer it...especially if I'm NOT the one it is addressed to.
