Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who can pay our sin penalty (Romans 6:23). No other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. No other “religious founder” was God become man (John 1:1,14) – the only way an infinite debt could be paid. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Jesus is God. The Bible tells us Jesus is the only way to the Father. This was my very initial thought. In reading the answers I do sit in agreement with Steve.

No one has ever heard or seen God, God always worked through the word, and now through Jesus. in the early days,a sinner would have to see one of Gods priest, who would offer a sin offering to god for sin. now that Jesus came and died for our sin, He is now our high priest, and we are now able to go to God in Jesus's name.
Jesus is the only way, because it took some one pure of heart, with out blemish(Sin), to be our way to God. Jesus was the way, the truth, and the life.

In the christian faith, without Jesus, salvation would be restricted to the chosen people ( jews ) as agreed between God and the chosen people, by ancient covenant.
With Jesus`s coming and sacrifice, all men can now be saved, if they believe in Jesus.

That`s what priests would like us to believe.

You can also have a good life without believing in any of the ancient god, and turn to the Flying Spaghetti Monster for true salvation.

Jesus never said that he was the ONLY way to God. He said "I am the way ..." As a matter fact the Lord's prayer, which Jesus himself taught, addresses God the Father directly. And what about the Jews and Muslims? Will they not go to heaven because they approach God directly?

I'll give you a hint, Jesus is God. So, Jesus isnt the only way to find God, because you can find Him through God, make sense? Honestly, if you are trying to find God, then seriously study all religions like I did. It gives you an understanding of what all religions are about and this can help you make the right decision. There is only one right decision for a reason, because there is only one truth.

That is what Christians believe. Doesn't mean they are right.
They can believe what ever they like. God has given freedom to believe any religion.

Christians will find out on the day of Judgment if Jesus was the only way or the way that they have been rejecting and mocking in this life is the Only way. But it will be too late then. They won't be allowed to return back to this world to correct their mistakes. Then they will have to face the judgment of God.

Jesus is the only way to get to God for CHRISTIANS. All religions have a "way to get to God" based on the tenets of that Faith. There's ONE God and as many ways to be with Him as the people on earth.

Jesus does only the things in which his father (God) tells him to. God works through Jesus and Jesus works through man. I'm not sure how to really explain it.
