in my science class, my teacher gave this really confusing HW and measuring carbondioxide is one of them(how to measure human's carbondioxide when she is breathing out). please~~~ help me. and also please tell me the good website to look. thank you sooo much.

I don´t know what grade you are in but a simple way to atleast show that there is CO2 in the air we exhale is to use a filtered lime solution. Or any alkaline hydroxide. Prepare a solution of calciumhydroxide (for instance) and make sure it is pure. It cannot be milky. Filter it if you have to. Now have someone exhale through a hose going into the flask with the solution. CO2 in the air will immediatelly turn into insoluable calciumcarbonate which can be observed as a milky substance in the flask. The reaction goes like this:
CO2 + H2O -> H2CO3
Ca(OH)2 + H2CO3 -> CaCO3 + H2O
