Would the best time to add honey to a cup of filter coffee be:

1) Before adding the filtered coffee
or
2) after adding milk to the coffee?

Seems like the best time, to add honey from the first three answers, I gather is to pour it in a cup with the sugar and then the coffee and then the milk!

I would add honey, then coffee, then milk. The honey would then be mingled throughout the coffee.

Before milk... you want the coffee as hot as possible to melt the honey. Milk will cool it off.

Whether you put the honey in an empty cup and add coffee or put it in after you've poured the coffee does not matter.

I would pour myself a cup of coffee, add the honey and then the milk.
