Many times, yes. Sunsets always seem to "touch" me in that way.
I don't know that I would describe it as "spiritual", but these moments are sometimes profound and moving.

Actually a veteran from the Viet Nam era emailed me and shared with me a story from long ago, in another war on foreign soil. It was gripping. I felt his pain and anguish of days remembered now mostly by those who experienced the turblent times of the 60's and early 70's, they were a part of. Tears welled in my eyes as scars from decades past etched across the lines of time. I was touched.

It was a chrome car door handle for me. It was early morning and I was getting ready to go back to school. I looked at the handle of the car door and just stopped and stood there in the snow for an entire minute, staring at it. It had little frost flowers all over it, and I could see the blue sky reflected in between them. It was beautiful. And to think, I would have missed it if I had just seen "a car handle" ;)

My best friend and I kissed, we just feel like God is bringing us together and we are so in love with eachother and we didn't even know we were so compatible. You know how people say you know the one. Well its true and its undescribable but you just know. And the fact she likes to worship makes it so much more exciting!
I saw this awesome sunset once, it was so awesome when I got out of my car everyone was looking up outside in the parkinglot at my apt. They were in awe and I was like what is everyone....oh!!! WOW!!!! the sky looked like upside down tornadoes and pinwheeles and no I wasn't on acid! Plus the sky looked like a big sheet of gold at the same time and blue part of the sky was as blue as the preview button you push to submit. It was breath taking!

Two occasions - 1 Operation Christmas Child, I volunteered at my Church. How wonderful. And 2 - I have to let go of the one I love, spiritually. How do you do that?

Amen. It came from my grandaughter in the form of a smile. She's 3 months old and has me wrapped around her finger.
