John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Seems pretty clear to me.

+ Jesus said He existed before Abraham ( John 8:58 )
+ Jesus said He was equal with the Father ( John 5:17, 18 )
+ Jesus claimed the ability to forgive sins ( Mark 2:5-7 )....which the Bible teaches was something that alone God could do ( Isaiah 43:25 )
+ The NT equated Jesus as the Creator of the universe ( John 1:3 )
+ and that Jesus is the one who holds everything together ( Col 1:17 )
+ Apostle Paul that God was manifest in flesh ( 1 Tim 3:16, KJV )
+ and John the evangelist says that " the Word was God " ( John 1:1 )
+ The united testimony of Jesus was more than mere man; He was God.
Not only did His friends notice that He claimed to be God, but so did His enemies as well. There may be some doubt today among the skeptics and false teachers who refuse to examine the evidence ( or they are forbidden to do that ), but there was NO DOUBT on the part of the Jewish authorities. When Jesus asked them why they wanted to stone Him, they replied, " For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God" ( John 10:33, NASB ). He was crucified for blasphemy.
This is exactly the case with Jesus. He clearly claimed all these things and more. If He is God, as He claimed, we must believe in Him, and if He is not, then we should have nothing to do with Him. Jesus is either Lord of all or not Lord at all.

sure, Jesus claimed to be God and believed He became God. because of the fact of this the Jews accused Him of blasphemy (Mark 2:7, John 8:fifty 8-fifty 9, 10:33) and what ultimately led to His crucifixion. The passages referenced by applying Butterfly Christie can all be reconciled. it extremely is how the doctrine of the Trinity became commonly used - by applying reconciling the extremely some passages in scripture that show who God is and what he's like. There are mysteries approximately God's nature that are incomprehensible to finite guy and this could motivate awe and sweetness in contrite hearts. the daddy is larger than Jesus as bearing on His function interior the Godhead. The Son submits to the daddy in artwork and function. The Holy Spirit submits to the daddy and the Son. yet each and every individual interior the Godhead is the two divine and co-eternal. the three persons of the Trinity have constantly existed in a loving dating from eternal to eternal. it extremely is the main suitable explanation for the revelation in scripture that God is one and yet all 3 persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) are Divine. we are made in a twin of God and so we see a small mirrored image of the Trinity interior the makeup of our persons (physique, soul, and spirit, Heb. 4:12). we are 3 complicated factors and it is not ordinary to tell the adaptation between our soul, spirit, and the chemical ingredients in our strategies.

The Godhead testifies concerning Himself in a way that is not like that of man. The Son comes testifying concerning the Father... The Spirit comes testifying concerning the Son... the Father Testifies concerning the Son. The Son and the Father testify concerning the Spirit.
Jesus came not just as the Son of God but also as the Son of Man. To those that knew Him since His incarnation all they would see is the son of Mary and Joseph the carpenter. This is why upon His baptism the Father, knowing that men and women at that time and to this day would question the Deity of Jesus Christ, has testified in three ways. By the Blood.. the Water and the Spirit.
We see these three matters in the Epistles of JOhn.
By Baptism by water there was the descending of the Spirit like a dove and a voice from the heavens testifying regarding Who this Christ was.. " This is My Son, the Beloved in Whom I have found my delight"
By the Blood, when the Lord was being crucified was also a strong attesting to Who this Christ is.. that He is God and the Son of God. The whole place became dark and there was an earthquake.. the centurion said' Truly this must be the Son of God" ....THe veil in the temple was rent from the top to the bottom.
The Spirit also testifies concering the Son inwardly to us as believers.
So we see The Father testifying.. a man testifying and the Spirit testifying.
Have you ever realized that demons have tried many times to Identify the Lord as the" Son of God" and the Lord silenced them? Why would He do this? He wanted men to see Him not just as the Son of God.. but also as the Son of Man...
As the Son of God, Christ could easily defeat satan.. but no demon would confess that Jesus is the Son of Man, to do so would be to admit that a " Man " would defeat them. That this God-man, Christ Jesus would, as a prototype be the pattern for all those that believe into Him. That other men, IN the Name of Jesus would cast out the demons.. heal the sick.. raise the dead...
So why did The Lord not go around saying" I am the Son of God.. I am God"
THis is not God's way of doing things when it relates to being AMONG men.
From the heavens God can shout whatever He wants.. but in incarnation.. God operates differently. HE operates by way of testifying and by demonstrating Who He is.
This God man .. Jesus Christ .. who IS God, did the works of God, He spoke the words of Life of God.. He laid His life down and raised it up again.
Yes dear Nina.. He is God and He knows it and the Blood Water and Spirit testify to this day of Who Christ is.
This matter is the most basic trait of a cult. To deny the Deity of Christ is one of the marked most distinct matters that satan always infiltrates men and women with.
To deny the Son as God is to have no way to get to the Father. He said. I AM the way the truth and the life.
HE is the I AM.
Interesting Question.
In Christ

All other (false) religions were founded by men and prophets whose end was the grave. As Christians, we take comfort in the fact that our God became man, died for our sins, was killed, and was resurrected the third day. The grave could not hold Him. The resurrection is "proof" that Jesus is God. Only God has the power over life and death.

Does God say that Jesus is God.
Matt.28:18; Isa.9:6,7; Heb.1:1-13; and how long does he sit at God's right hand until the god of this world [ WHO IS GOD OF THIS WORLD ? TO WHEN ]2Cor.4:3,4; has his power confined to earth for a short time in the time of the end until the 2nd coming of Christ.
Matt.22:42-44; David said and Jesus agreed, Jesus is his Lord, but the LORD God of Jesus, has him at his right hand until his enemies Satan and 1/ 3 angels are under their feet Rom.16:20; Then the power of Jesus begans.
So if Satan is god of this world, and John 10:34-36; Jesus said, he called them gods to whom the word of God came, and the world of God came form the LORD God, who created Jesus first before all and in his image Col.1:15-17; not Satan 2Cor.4:3,4; but Jesus Heb.1:1-13; John 17:1-17; Rev.3:14; so
will the LORD God and Father of Jesus John 20:17; Matt.3:16; 6:9-13; 16:16;
22:37-40; 28:18; say that Jesus is our Lord God for 1000 years Rev.20:1-6,12,13; with all power to save us to be in the kingdom of God forever?

Yes, Jesus did claim to be God in several of the gospels. John, Matthew for a few. He said He and the Father are one. If you believe in me you believe in the Father. We believe because it is in the Word. If we believe the Bible to be HIS word, then we believe what He teaches us. ****ann

John 10:30
"I and the Father are one."
John 10:32-33
32 Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?" 33 The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God."
Luke 22:70
And they all said, "Are You the Son of God, then?" And He said to them, "Yes, I am."
John 6:48-51
48 "I am the bread of life. 49 "Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 "This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. 51 "I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread also which I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh."
Matthew 27:43
"He trusts in God; let Him deliver Him now, if He takes pleasure in Him; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.'"
Even if He did claim it ...
Luke 16:30-31
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Matthew 27:42-43 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. 43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
They did not believe, even when God did raise Him from the dead.
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
You cannot come to God (believe) unless God grants you faith to believe. But isn't that the very reason you are asking questions like this? because God is drawing you to Himself so that you can believe?

There are many passages in the Bible which specifically refer to Jesus Christ as God.
Jesus Christ clearly taught His own divinity. For example, in Revelation 21:6-7—“And he [Jesus Christ] said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. .. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” In John 8:57-59—“Jesus said to them, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.’
The fact that Jesus Christ is God, the second Person of the Holy Trinity, is not just an academic or theological issue. Jesus Christ, being the divine Creator, demands our utmost allegiance, obedience, service and worship. To reject the divinity of Jesus Christ is to reject the clear teaching of Scripture. To reject the divinity of Jesus Christ is to reject the God who exists. If we do not believe that Jesus Christ is God, then we are lost and will be cast into hell.

No he did not.As a man, Jesus obeyed Jehovah in everything, always delighting to do his will. Thus, Jesus could truthfully say: “I do nothing of my own initiative; but just as the Father taught me I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me; he did not abandon me to myself, because I always do the things pleasing to him.” (John 8:28, 29)

Yes, and for anyone who believes that He was crucified for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, He promises everlasting life with Him. He came down from Heaven and took on a human form just to tell people how much He loves them. He only wants people to love Him in return. God bless you!!!
