All right, I am a very educated, level headed man, who doesn't believe in things which bear no proof or substance (i.e., God)

At this point in my life, however, I have "devolved" from disregarding all things supernatural as fiction, to not writing anything off as true unless I have evidence in it's truthfullness.

I'm asking anyone out there who claims to be a psychic, to refute my skepticism, and answer three questions for me. Note, these questions do not have answers which can be found in my profile, or any of questions I have answered, and are deeply personal. They're easy to guess at, I would suppose, but I want specifics. If you can answer ONE question correctly, then I won't write you off as a phony. If you answer TWO or more, then, well, you win.

QUESTION ONE:

I love only one woman: tell me something about her

QUESTION TWO:

My daughter is 17 years old: tell me something about her

QUESTION THREE:

I have a drug addiction: What is my drug of choice?

Of all the answers, none of you got any of them right. Except the girl who took her answers directly from the "What you want for Christmas" question. I do give her a thumbs up for her being so clever :)

The rest of you: nice try.

Pangel - I thank you kindly for your explanation. Could you tell what sort of question I might be able to ask in order to get a genuine answer?

If you're psychic, you'd know the answer...but no, my mother passed away years ago. The woman I love is alive, and she is my ex-wife. Is that all you can tell me about her?

Also, I am a nicotine addict, but that's not the drug of choice I was referring to. As I said, no answers can be found by looking at my profile, on which I claim to be a life-long smoker.

Still waiting....

Thanks Pangel for being such a sweetheart - I see a woman here in the phone book that I might check out. I'll take your advice though, and hold onto my pocketbook.

Of course, all of you psychics are still welcome to answer. All answers down to ILLYRIA GOD QUEEN's are incorrect.

All right, all right. Thanks all for playing, but none of you were correct. I especially enjoyed some of the answers about my drug addiction - they were funny :)

ANSWERS ONE AND TWO were misleading, and that's all I'll say.

ANSWER THREE

Adderall XR - a prescription, class 2 controlled substance which I write my own prescriptions for.

since you are asking in a serious , genuine manner
then I am going to answer you accordingly

no psychic would be able to tell you this

the reason being , a psychic tunes into your aura ... gets a feel for whatever is captured in your energy
they cant pick and choose what comes to them
they cant ask for a name and be given a name

that is why I rarely answer any questions of this type
unless something stands out to me and speaks to me , then I am none the wiser about a person

edit
when someone comes to me for a reading
all I ask is that they sit back and allow me to tune in
no questions
then I see what happens
usually the reading will gear towards some guidance needed at that time

whenever a psychic or medium to be more specific promises you any specifics ... take your money and run

just being honest

I had to chime in on this one. Great question. Its nice to see something different once in a while.

I grew up in a psychic household and at times even a psychic community. Of all the psychics I have known, perhaps one or two could do what you are asking. In general I would agree with Pangel, if someone claims to have this kind of ability take your money and run. Really though, this kind of thing is pretty unimpressive compared to what they CAN do. Psychic ability is a lot like God (actually you could say they are the same) in that there is no proof. Both require Faith. People seem to forget that Faith IS belief without proof. If you could prove it, it defeats the purpose of the excercise.

I would tend to take the statement at face value -- it's a claim, with no supporting evidence. I'm not skeptical, per se, because I've known many psychic people and I've had psychic experiences myself. But I would wonder why this person was making such a claim -- is it for personal recognition? Is it to claim authority? Or maybe it's to draw out like-minded others with whom to share perspectives? The first thing for me to determine is the sincerity of the statement -- is this person revealing their interpretation of an inner experience, or is he or she engaging in superficial ego puffery? I would probably stick around long enough to satisfy my own curiosity -- not about the veracity of the claim, necessarily, but about the motivations for the statement. Based on my evaluation, I might make further inquiry or roll my eyes judgmentally and turn to another subject.

The woman you love is your daughter. She loves you also. You both wish you could spend more time together. She admires you, but you don't know it.

The drug of choice is a pain reliever which you originally took for honest to goodnes pain. It took more and more of the drug for you to gain relief, hence the addiction. Now you take it because without it you feel sick; diarrhea, vommiting, headache, etc. You feel pannic when you are without the drug. The drug does not make you feel "high", just "normal."

How's that?
(EDIT) I'm not psychic, nor do I believe in psychics. Just wanted to show how easy it is to make vague statements which are probably true. That's how psychics do their thing.

1. Either has bad luck or isn't that great at standing up for herself, doesn't respond well to change, optimism/used to getting her way, stubborn, agnostic or undecided about spirituality/confused, tendency towards laziness/sedentary.

2. This person is also either optimistic or used to getting her way, friends are important to her, does not have a positive attitude about religion, money issues(either not enough of it or doesn't keep it for long if you know what I mean), a tiny bit sedentary/lazy, creative.

3. I use runes to get my information, but it's pretty difficult to get an actual name of an addiction from the runes. What the runes are showing is something to do with women or sex, or maybe even gambling (something to do with money). It looks like you have had this for a while or it's one POWERFUL urge you got there.

The woman you love is not your wife/ ex wife. She is your neighbors wife.
Your daughter is a stranger in your house. You struggle with her deeply.
Your drug addiction is 2 drugs. tobacco and alcohol. You prefer wine but enjoy the Bourbon.

Just having fun here. Sorry if I offended. Thanks for the 2 points.

You're addicted to Low Carb Monster drinks.

Ok, maybe that's just me.

You love your ex-wife.

You wish your daughter was still a little girl. She's going to college soon.

The woman is your mother. Your daughter loves you and hates you at the same time, but one day she will cherish you. Your drug of choice is YA...there you are able to freely express yourself.
