...and got all the atheists and agnostics kicked off of R&S...

...they'd fight a lot more amongst themselves, don't you think?

I'd say we're actually doing you theists a FAVOR by being here; we're giving you a common enemy against which you can unite!

Now aren't you glad we're here?

I am glad to see all the responses of Christians (and other theists?) who do not want us kicked out! This question is, of course, refering to question in the pasts along the lines of "Atheists, why are you here?" It's good that not everybody's like that...

Electricpole: Your answer perplexes me somewhat. You respect atheists more than agnostics? Do you also find it necessary to take a firm stance regarding every court case and murder trial you see regarding whether the accused is guilty or innocent, when you frankly weren't there and frankly have no way to know the truth?

You haven't got the foggiest idea how happy Christians are to see atheist in here. It encourgages us. It challenges us. it helps hone our skills. Mega thanks for being there for us.

As a Christian I'm Glad you're here, adds to the spectrum of debate.

I feel respect on some level with Athiests, as they have thought about there position and taken a stand, ( which I have as well).
To me agnostics are not willing to take a stand, or too lazy to search for information and develop a position. Their posts bear less weight with me.

I don't want Atheists kicked out! I would love to see tolerance and patience from ALL people. I want people of ALL beliefs to realize that some users are kids...young ones under 15. Some of the language and hateful things are way out of line. It hasn't been bad lately but just remember you are talking to a person..maybe a kid..ALL people should be nice!

I have never grouped myself with the beliefs of any other people, nor do I consider atheists an "enemy". They are simply those with a different opinion. I enjoy this area of YA because of the controversial questions.

You get a cookie for that. lol How true. If they can't find anyone else to fight, they will fight amongst themselves. I actually witnessed such in my church days. Back then as in now, they are more scared of Atheists than they are satan. lol

oh I am glad you are here! why? well that is another question that you can figure out for yourself. Many come and leave here very much changed, they don't always know that they have changed, but they have changed even if they don't know it.
The knowledge of the truth changes everything!!!!!!!!!!

If all the atheists and agnostics leave R & S, then I'm leaving too.

In the end, Christians do get "their way" in the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ will descend from Heaven and every knee will bow and declare Him Lord.

Nice try though..............

God bless you.
