What exactly are orbs? Is it a good or bad thing and is it harmful?

They're spheres. They can be harmful if you run into one hard enough.

Orbs can come in some different colors from what I have heard.....but I have only seen the completely white ones...these are either good spirits and or angels...some are known to follow cars, and trains....makes sense if they are a spirit guide or guardian angel.
The one I have seen was swimming around the top of a four story building where I lived at age four or five, as if it was watching over me, perhaps it was my spirit guide, she's been with me all my life, she's been communicating with me for the last three years now.

orbs are what some belive, spirits, or ghosts of some kind.

I think orbs are dust motes and flying insects catching light as they are being filmed.

They are round spheres composed of light, metal, etc. If you are refering to orbs of light they are beneficial. Protection, healing, knowledge, etc, I wouldn't stress about it.

You mean those make-believe ghosts?
Lens flares, dust and photoshop tricks.
Nothing more.

some would say that they are the spirits of the dead. That is what I believe, either that, or alien farts.
