Sometimes... though I just mainly fry and boil chicken, it's the only thing I know how to make... though i didn't picture you as a cook...

Alot ot times, people are really surprised to learn that I can cook. I'm not sure why. I think it's because I come across as a goofball sometimes. Also, I don't really talk about cooking all that much, and when I do, I do it in a joking manner... calling myself "Iron Chef" and "Greatest cheese grater on the planet"

But once they have my made from scratch turtle cheesecake, or my pancetta/swiss quiche, they understand that, while I like to joke, I also like to cook..

My mom and sisters are surprised cuz I very rarely cooked for them since I lived with my dad. But my hubby is surely enjoying it!

I am surprised I can cook all the times I luckly do not irrimediably waste what I am cooking.

I think so...my mom was the worst cook...I think people think you learn from your parents....my culinary journey started young and as more of a survival declaration...I wanted food that tasted good...if that was going to happen...I was going to have to do it myself...and the rest is history..I am by far the best cook anyone I know knows

yes especially my dad, my mom could make pot roast and biscuits and gravy and that was it so i understand I'm a wonderful self taught cook

Yes, especially since I am a vegetarian... (They absolutely love my baked ziti in "meat" sauce"...LOL)...
