that is the only thing left for me to do,besides dedication and initiation. I need a wand and a athame. Should i buy my wand or wait for it to find me?

I forgot to mention I am new at this again? Again, because i was doing this under a false teacher and forgot alot of it. and please, I don't want to hear about how I am going to go to hell, ( i don't subscribe to the christian mythos, ) and i

Ahhh... don't do this. You open the door to some awful things. It can be nothing but the worst kind of mistake.

First of all, you don't really need tools. They are there to help remind your inner self when it is time for ritual, celebration, and spiritual acts. So, go ahead and start practicing, always remembering the Rule of Three and the Rede. You can always dedicate and initiate your wand and athame when you get them.
Secondly, I have found that the tool finds you in its own time and when you are ready.
Continue to grow and study, continue to love and have an open mind, continue to learn everything - rejecting the negative and keeping the positive that works in your life, and remember that not everything is right or wrong - there are many gray areas that you will come across - you will have to decide for yourself. Never stop studying! You will never know it all.

You don't actually NEED either. They are just tools, that in your mind may help you to focus and direct your energy. But between the two, I'd go with making your own wand. Do an internet search on making your own wand...there are plenty of websites that will give you some ideas if you're not sure where to start.
I do think the stick I ended up using for my wand found me...I wasn't thinking about it and I was walking along and for reasons unknown, I just suddenly stopped, and looked down. And there it was. Perfect size, shape, etc. Brought it home, decorated it, charged it with my energy, and there ya go.

Remember all wands have a star on the end. Be sure that your star has sharp points.
