I have a crush on a boy. He is very funny and kind. He talks and jokes with me sometimes but I hate the fact that everytime I see him I can't concentrate on my work. I try not to notice him, sometimes I even ignore him which is probably bad because he might think I don't like him. What should I do? I hate the way I feel sometimes.

Also I go to a Christan academy which only has 39 kids so basically everytime I turn around he's right their because the school is so small. I also know that lust is a sin, but the image of him just pops up in the most important situations.

Uummm...

This is perfectly normal and healthy. Guess what? You are forgiven.

Pray to be delivered if you feel you must.

The Christian Academy has really gotten to you. Your feelings are normal, they're not wrong. This is what has kept humankind alive. Try pursuing a relationship with him but never let lust get out of control. You're going to feel this for a long time and with other boys too. Just don't let your emotions control your senses. The greatest tool God gave us is our brain.

well first of all, this isn't lust. lust is imagining him naked or wondering what he would look like topless covered in strawberry syrup. this is a simple crush. I am a Christian too. however I don't go to a Christian school so my religion isn't as heavily emphasized as yours is. I had crushes before I even knew how to spell the word. God is not going to strike you down for liking this boy or send you to hell. It's human nature, stop beating yourself up over it and accept it.

Lusting is a sin crushing is not...and if you're lusting contros your thinking ask God to help b/c your body should not have that much control...and remember we are saved by grace not by works and good behavior lest any man should boast...we are redeemed from the curse of the law...religion and spirituality are not the same it's not your aim to follow religious guide but the Word of God according to the Bible knowing that
He picks you up when you fall and loves you regardless...but do be more concerned with your studies than with boys...

You just have a crush on a boy and keep thinking about him. That's not a sin, hon--don't be so hard on yourself. You just like someone and that's perfectly OK! Don't ignore him --just be nice like you probably always are, and everything is going to be fine.

Oh boy. Just say Hi. Nothing to it.

Edit: your 14, lusting should be the last thing on your mind. You like him, so what. Be his friend, perhaps he would like to have you as a friend.

Well, since you're too young to get married, you better pray about it. Try to focus on other things.

Welcome to the human condition. Only priests and religious nuts will tell you a sexual appetite is sinful. It's not.

You have a crush, ok. :) They're fun!
It's how you do or do not act on your thoughts which defines you.

You cannot harm God. Your religion is not telling you the truth about God. If you like to read, try the recommendations in my profile if you want to know what is true about everything.
