Separation of the church and state. Laws will be made that help the people and not the religion. If it wasnt so here in the U.S. they would burn me at the stake as a heritic/ witch. Thanks to this separation I am safe from such stupidity.

Islam is the final word of God. And it remains unchanged, so it's far easier to understand. Christianity has had books removed from the Bible and has had other alterations from mistranslating for 2000 years. Therefore there are a lot of versions and it's impossible to get a straight answer.

Unfortunately, only time. It wasn't even 100 years ago that women in USA were treated very similar to women in Islamic countries, with very limited rights. Countries like Turkey are making great strides. Hopefully, they'll serve as a great example for Islamic countries, where people seem content to live under the oppressive Sharia laws.

Consequences!!!!!

Very negative ones!

If a new glass parking lot appeared in a Muslim country everytime one of their citizens blew themselves up next to a school bus, you better believe that those who aren't of the radical persuasion would lose patience with those that are a lot faster, and would police up their own garbage.

Right now, liberals give them a green light to continue the carnage, and they count on the Peace-At-All-Cost Lefties to keep the rest of us at bay.

For all of Yomamma's Bin Hidin's bravado, he puckered up enough to crap out little diamonds when he saw the reaction of the American people when his crew of misfits murdered 3,000+ people on 9/11. He denied having anything to do with it, and backpeddled like a circus clown with an angry lion in front of him. Then we found the evidence and went after him. Then we found the video.

Unfortunately, then many of us forgot that 9/11 ever happened. The liberals got louder, the media got entrenched with the radical islamofascists, and them cowardly turtles finally dared to stick their heads out of their shells again.

If the American people were 100% united in destroying RADICAL Islam (because not all muslims are radical), this war would have ended long ago.

Just like the Viet Cong, they are hoping that the peace-nics among us will win for them.

That's my take on it.

Well, there are huge cultural differences that have to be considered first. Until those are dealt with, I don't think anything will change in those countries.

I also don't think it has anything to do with Islam either, rather local customs being absorbed into the area's form of Islam.

Educate the women.

I read a study that concluded that providing modern education to women gives them better opportunities in life. They learn to value education, self-determination and diplomacy and pass these values on to their children. They would work for their children's education and encourage them to better themselves.

I personally believe that it would require too great of a change for them to ever achieve it.

For example, they would have to let go of the fundamental nature of islam (hatred, violence and intolerance) and seek TRUE peace (instead of the false "peace of islam").

Unfortunately, I also believe that islam is the greatest threat that humanity has ever had to face. And it doesn't look like it's getting any easier.

Just my opinion.

I don't think so. Look at what Pat Robetson and John Hagee are preaching. They actually want ethnic cleansing in the holy city so it will bring back their messiah....
