on the book of Deuteronomy? Should it be illegal in US to mock or criticize Mohammed? Should US become a Islamic state?
Your honest opinions please?

I am seeking answers from Muslims who are citizens of the US. There is no need to preach to me about the Constitution. I want to know their opinions. Thank you.

If America became a Muslim state I honestly believe the rest of the western world would immediately a) disassociate themselves and b) recieve a huge influx of American immigrants. It would be the Mayflower in reverse......

Your question is very interesting, but I doubt that you'll get a real answer (or not THE real answer) from American Muslims. The USA will be an Islamic state. The Muslim plan is to have it done by 2050. I don't think it will take that long. As a Christian Fundie, I do see the writing on the wall. Even the book of Revelation I think supports this idea - when the whole world turns on Israel, (Armageddon) what super-power stands up for, and fights along-side Israel? NOBODY. So, either the US won't exist anymore (Can-Am-Exico?) or the US will be a Muslim country then and actually be against Israel.

okay here we go...

i think women should have to be covered head to toe

if a woman MUST be seperated from her duties in the house then she should have to ride in the back of the truck, on her knees, with the goats.

women are respected above all else, however any man in the home can tell a woman to do whatever he wants or do anything to said woman, praise alah

i would like all the infadels who do not convert to islam to be murdered

since america has such a vast military we should use it to invade other countries in order to bring on the great jihad (o wait, were already doing that)

i would like to see pornography and alcohol made illegal

any infadel who speaks negatively against muhammed is to have a finger cutt off

i would like to have schools teach islam for 2 hours a day since God is the ultimate knowledge

why should US become an Islamic state. how ridiculous. im not muslim im sikh by the way. and no america shouldnt become muslim or change the constituion when it already serves its purpose and in writing is fair and just. i understand why you may want there to be a law for americans not be allowed to mock or criticise Mohammed but the chances of that happening are zero. at the end of the day, if your faith is that important to you why does it bother you what other people say. if you believe in god than fair enough, but you cant expect everybody else to. sure they should respect your views - but there are a lot of ignorant people out there.

In the constitution, it clearly states that religion is not to be a part of United States law.

Thus, every citizen has the inalienable right to believe whatever they want to believe, and freedom of speech is also an inalienable right so I get to preach and answer your question all I want to and you can disagree with me all you want to.

Therefore, the constitution has nothing, zip, nada to do with religion. Read your constitution, it was put together by enlightened masons who knew religion corrupts true freedom.

We know that Americans will never want to make an amedment in US Constitution for 3% Muslim in USA. We also know America will never be a Muslim State.

Do you think Muslims are fools and will want something that is impossible to happen?

We can only wish for Muslims in Muslim countries to become real peaceful and have unity amongst them.

When it comes to the things you named... I wouldn't really care.

Free speech is like a two way street, you can't have pure benefits without some negative affects.

As for it being an Islamic state... not really. Saudia is an Islamic state, yet some of it's laws have hardly anything to do with Islam.

Honestly, when it comes to political stuff like that, I don't know what's right or wrong anymore because I've seen both sides, and they're both messed with.

That's my "honest opinion".

Peace.

Separation of church and state. Muslims are becoming very whiny. You have the same rights as any other religion in the U.S. In fact, it seems now adays it is perfectly fine to mock christianity and judaism, but it is deemed highly insenistive to mock Islam.
C'mon man, give it a rest.

Am not American citizens, but Islam (Qur'an) has a verse advocating mutual consultation

42:38 and who respond to [the call of] their Sustainer and are constant in prayer; and whose rule [in all matters of common concern] is consultation among themselves; and who spend on others out of what We provide for them as sustenance;

So, in a society, mutual consultation is advocated. But if you ask the fundies, you'll get a different answer.

Don't try to take away anymore of our values.
Would you be offended if reading the Koran would become illegal in a Islamic country.
