I know you have a book that tells you that Jesus is the only way, but that isn't the only book on the planet that contains information on how to get to Heaven. What proof do you have that no one but Christians get into Heaven?
Please try to remember, bible scripture is not proof, just as blueprints for the Flux Capacitor from "Back to the Future" does not prove that time-travel is possible.

Tim H, Buddhists do no claim exclusivity, nor does Judaism, nor does Taoism, Shintoism, as a matter of fact, there are VERY FEW religions that claim exclusivity... you may want to stop lying about the religions of the world, I heard this rumor that God said that that was a no-no, and it was said in MORE than one relgion.

jaantoo1, all I need is one miracle. Just one. That miracle should point directly to a specific god, and not be left ambiguous and open to speculation. So far, there has been no such miracle.

I don't believe for a second that God cares what a persons religious beliefs were or are. The God of my understanding is more concerned with a persons character.

It is not a matter of proof but a matter of our faith. We believe that Jesus is the risen Son of God. Because we believe that, then we must also trust what Jesus says about how you may enter into heaven.
Like you said, there are other books that tell you other ways to get to heaven. Again, for these ways it will have to be a matter of faith.
But most of the other ways require you to attain a level of righteousness before you can go to heaven.
Only in Christianity are you accepted as you are.
The righteousness growing as your faith does.

First let's set the record straight.
EVERYONE goes to Heaven! The only entities not allowed in Heaven are Satin and his followers (Demons).
We are God's children and He loves ALL of us. Would you condemn and torture your own children? Well neither will God. You will be kept away from God that will be your punishment for the evil you do on Earth.
So worry not atheists. You will be allowed i Heaven just not allowed to be close to God. Your punishment will be your ever burning desire to be close to Him.
BTW: The burning flame part that people confuse with Hell is the burning flame of desire to be close to God. How this got all screwed up I have no idea?
OK enough rambling. I know I'll get a bunch of thumbs down by the people that THINK they know truth.

i quit believing in the bible years ago and i quit believing in jesus and god awhile ago. Men make mistakes and the bible was written by MAN. What proof is there that heaven actually exists?? Some book says so?? Some book also tells me men are from Mars and women are from Venus. Does that make it so?? I believe if there is a god that rules heaven , he will let anyone in heaven he chooses. The christians can't prove anything without quoting from their bible. Paganism pre-dates christianism, by about 400 years.

Dear Aus, your question in itself is fallacious, it asumes that God bases his Judgement of who will enter heaven or hell based upn there belife or lack of belife in Him, this is simply false and falls on its face, and is largely and exhibition of the consistant misoutation of scripture and misunderstading of the Plan of salvation. One is denied existnece in heaven not because of there differing belifes, but because of sin, for instance, have you ever lied, stolen, looked with lust or used Gods name in vain? if you have then by your own admission, your a lyign theiving blpasphemous adulturer at heart, and who existing on earth can say they are not guilty of doing these things, therefore God being Just he will see tat justice is done, not on the basis of unbelife but on the basis that we have offended him a Holy God. so the basis of your question in itself is resting upon a fase presupposition, and now thta we have gotten rid of the false ppresupposition it will be easier to answer the rest of our question. The BIble is not the only other Book that espouses belifes on how we get to heaven, your right, absolutly, heres the issue, its not what we belive that matters, it matters what is true. now indeed the blueprint of the flux compacter itself does not prove that timetravel is possible, However, if we had the Blue print Plus an exhbit of how it works in real time, then we have written and independantly verifiable truth. God didnt leave the scripture alone by itself, while it (The Bible) is the ultimate revelation of Gods charachter and nature and truth, we have creation, the conscience as wel as the wittness of jesus Christ changing and converting the heart exhibitng what the scrioutres say as being true. Imagine that somen from 200 years ago comes to live with you and your showing him the blueprint of a telivison, you explain to him that you turn on the tv and a man or woman appersin the tv and talks and entertains you the audience. he looks at you andthe blueprints and says "thats impossilbe, theres no way a person could be projected into your box, you canot help him understand the Blueprint, so instead you tell im to press the pwoer button and turn the tv on and see how the Blueprint is exhibited in real time, he does and is amazed. well heres my challenge too you, examine yourself under Gods law (Ten Commandments) ie, ever lied stolen looked with lust ect. then repent (confess and forsake your sin) and with a genuine heart put your trust in jesus, the moment you do he will reveal himself too you and convert your heart, forgive you of sin and grant you the gift of everlasting life, an ultimate exhibit of scripture and more so, and amazing and verlasting exhibibt of His Love and mercy.
God Bless

Why? Because you don't like the Bible?
Surely you are not THAT uninformed about the provinance of the Scriptures?
EVERY major world religion makes claims to their exclusiveness in relation to truth. Hundu, Islam, Buddhism, Shinto, Tao, and Christianity all claim to exclusively be true.
The reason you ask is that God is drawing you to Himself, and you cannot help asking!
John 6:44 "No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.
As to the Bible, it was Jesus that said
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6
And Peter said Acts 4:12 "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

Its not just atheists and its every single other religion. There are false religions out there, The bible even warns against them. Now tell me how someone who is born into a false religion and taught only that religion, supposed to know anything otherwise? He doesnt even have the chance to know the truth about God and Jesus. But God will give us all a chance.

I think your mistake is in assuming that achieving salvation and eternal life is like how a child views Disneyland. They see it as a place that you get let into by the people at the gate and you go have fun. I personally believe that our eternal happiness has more to do with what we learn and how we learn to act and do right things. Obviously in the end none of this is possible without the great sacrifice of Christ, but I don't think He can just suddenly zap happiness into your mind, because He likes you.

you won't get any real solid cogent responses from Christians on this. they figure god will be mad if they question any of his great nonsense.
I admire your determination to get something out of them though. But you can tell them and explain to them forever that the bible isn't proof, and maddeningly, they ignore logic and reasoning in favor of the nonsense.
Remember the old saying:
you can lead a whore to culture but you can't make him think.
Well, the same applies to Christians and leading them to logic.
C'est la vie,
