The great majority of scientists agree that global climate change is happening, and is due to human activities. These activities include: burning coal to produce electricity, driving cars/trucks, making cement, etc.

Now, just like every scientific discussion, a few people don't agree. This minority believes that this "short-term" warming trend is caused by normal fluctuations in the Earth's climate, such as what is caused by solar flares.

I personally trust the scientific majority here. It's just too disasterous for us not to act right now.

Global warming is a natural occurance with negative effects due to our incompitance it would have happened anyway the sun is a star and as you may know a star is gas and gas dissapates but we are speeding up the process and damaging the earth which is only one plant in our galaxy it would effect the whole galaxy eventually go to discoverychannel.com for interesting theories

The Earth can never have a static climate. The climate is always changing. If the climate isn't cooling, it's warming.

1998 was the warmest year recorded in the last 100 years. We haven't have any warmer year since then. The Earth has cooled down since then.

The first person who answered is question is wrong. The hottest summer was in 2005. 20,000 people die in Europe that year because of a heat wave that last 2 weeks.

It doesn't matter what random websites say. The scientific experts say that most of the current warming is due to human greenhouse gas emissions. See my discussion here of the most recent findings:
