There are other web sites they could use vs Yahoo Answers, but since this section is merely "Religion and Spirituality", then it encompasses everything. It is possible to target only those questions relating to Atheism or Christianity. It is beneficial, however, to learn about and understand all beliefs.

because R&S is religion and spirituality. your spirit has faith, and religion is about where your faith goes. atheists choose to put their faith in things other than gods. therefore, they still ahve a religion because they put their faith somewhere
and to the first answerer, christians could just as easily say "this place is full of silly little atheists," so i'd quiet down if i were you
EDIT
this is meaning no offense, but even if atheists did have their own sections, they'd just be people. i mean, since i'm not atheist i can't be sure, but what would you talk about? why you don't believe in anything? anybody who truly needs to ask that can ask that on here because atheists are here, and besides, it'd get pretty offensive.
and it's not like yahoo answers is the only website on the whole entire freaking interent that has R&S

Hey, Liberal Asskicker... who taught you to count that high? As to the main question: The theists of the R&S section can't stand the heat but are not willing to completely get out of the kitchen. So they think if they give us our own section, we will leave them alone. How boring THAT would be.

B.c it's an absence of a belief- -there' s nothing to talk about...it's like having a section for dog owners- and a section for ppl who don't have dogs..umm what would the topic be???
The atheists can come here if they wish to discuss or debate spirituality or religions- and if they want to just talk about spirituality. Not all spiritual ppl believe in God.

The responses to this question are interesting and comical. Did you know that God hates religion? AND, He loves atheists too. This is not a competition to see who can score the most smartass points. Trying to convince someone that your religion is better than theirs, or is better than atheism, is completely against what God wants and Jesus teaches. It is not up to us to prove a point, just live the life! God loves all you guys and gals!

Atheists need the internet to communicate. God fearing folk should be using the heavens and prayer to be sending their messages

I'm not aethist or anything, but I don't see a sign saying christians only, here either. You can start your own Christians only message line or chat room, but I doubt if it would be as interesting. *LOL* What a question!
