im on a tourist visa in US for 6 mos. will expired end of nov. but i got a solicitor to secure me a working visa but is still waiting for it until now ..do i have to exit us first before my visa expire?

In the US you don't secure a work visa (H1B/H2) . A US company has to sponsor you, they in turn apply for the correct paperwork for you to obtain a work visa.
Are you getting married and you are referring to work authorization card that way or through family?

Yes, I suggest that you exit the country and then you can go back later to process your working visa. It will be bad for your case if you overstay, or you might lose your chance forever to get a working visa. Also, there is not much time left if you want to extend your I-94. Please pack your back and leave, you still can come back later.

Hiring a Lawyer is non productive and has only the same rights as the applicant.In many cases it could damage your case.Of course they will releive you of $3,000 first and then wriggle out of their responsibilities they always do dont they.

You have to be sponsored by a COMPANY to remain in the states and get a work visa...lawyers don't have the power to do it themselves!
Pack your crap and go back home! Or stay here and be deported and never get to come back!

Nothing personal, but I always wonder about questions like this. You say you have a lawyer (solicitor). Isn't he(she) taking care of that for you? You are paying them, right? That means they're working for you. Make them earn it!
