Heb.9:27; It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement, so when is heaven and hell? Acts 1:9-11; Rev.1:7; He comes back about the same way he ascended, WHY DOES HE COME BACK? every eye shall see him even those that pierced him, WHY AREN'T THEY IN HELL?

Religion has always been leaning toward the bad. Jesus didn't like it, and people still call His followers religious people. Jesus has very few true followers, they have a personal relationship with Him, not a religion. Religion is man trying to make himself good enough for God. Man can't do this, so God took on the form of man, in Jesus the messiah. He then did what man can not do, and if you believe this, and are born of the Spirit, you will have everlasting life with Jesus.

What good has religion been responsible for?

And, I don't mean Christ dieing for our sins; or Mohamed; or Moses or, or, or. Real things please. Something substantial.

Historically religion has proved bad.

But then there is the evil head of patriotism bound to screw up the world. Not so much for the rich corporate dudes who take their manufacturing elsewhere; but for the ordinary dudes who have the unmitigated gall to speak out against the government.

The good far outwieghs the bad. Religion has civilized us farther then no religion could have. In modern times, though, its the destructive rule that is holding us back from moving forward.

If religion ever did die out the bad would probably outshine the good. All you hear about today, even, s about the war in Iraq and Terrorist plots etc. No one hears about the good people of religion (In all religions).

Shame, that.

Religion of some sort has been around since the beginning of time....and it's not going to go away anytime soon.

It's not religion that's good or bad....it's some of the people in the religions that make it good or bad.
