see if you can find a copy of the Hubert Laws CD that has this on it. Truly amazing.

Fluteworld.com has the music for this -- http://www.fluteworld.com/index.php?action=prod&wart=46761

Would appear that it's time for someone to do a transcription - there isn't much out there on it.

Moonlight Sonata Flute

The problem is - Moonlight Sonata is for solo piano - no flute. You could just play the top line of the piano part or take any interesting part of the melody up an octave for flute. There's no need to try and find the music. So the good news is that it's FREE if you already have the piano music!!!!

I don't know about sheet music but I know that it is beautiful on the flute. I had a friend, now deceased, named Kay Gardner (a professional composer and flute player) that made a recording of Moonlight Sonata. She did some improvisation on flute while a piano played most of the melody. It was gorgeous. Good luck on finding the music I know it will be just beautiful.

Try Fluteworld or any other print music specialists in your country! You could try getting the piano part and playing that! I doubt you would find print music for flute! But you never know!

You could try fiddling around with the melody of the original and see what you like. Here's a link: http://www.all-about-beethoven.com/beethovenmusicsheet.html
