I made a finnish meat pie called pasties: it has cut up round steak in it , diced potatoes, diced rutabega, chopped onions, a dab of margarine and salt and pepper, rolled into a pkg pie crust and folded over like a calazone, and cooked in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes till golden brown and then it sits out for 15 minutes and u serve it with ketchup or nothing at all and it is wonderful, and dont make no sides with it this is a full meal just as it self...

I'll be grilling outside in a bit.It's cold here in N.E. U.S.A. but I grill year round.I'm cooking a steak, with a tomato salad and baked beans...it's all I have to cook till I go to the store.Oh, and a glass or two of wine.My day off from work is tomorrow :)

I made a nice pot of soup with linguica sausage, onions, garlic, carrots, red potatoes, cabbage, celery and white beans. The bread is in the oven now--maybe a nice glass of wine and ice cream for dessert!

Due to nasty weather we are craving homemade chili dogs using Oscar Meyer beef wieners, wolf chili (no beans), chopped onion, shredded cheddar, mustard, etc. No sides. I'm having 2, lol.

I ordered some sashimi (salmon, yellowtail, and mackerel) and made a side of steamed brocolli. Strange combo but it was delicious!!!
