Ever seen Brad Pitt's film "Seven years in Tibet"? Those monks insisted on saving the lives of every worm in the ground before agreeing to construct a movie theater. They are spiritual to the core, and have a moral code second to none. Jesus, if he's a man of honor, would be, SHOULD be astounded at their compassion for life.
Why on earth would they be condemned to roast on Satan's BBQ for eternity for exemplifying about the most wonderful qualities any human could hope to possibly live by. Their only "crime" is carrying on thousands of years of tradition -- a non Judeo-Christian tradition of love.

"Lack of faith" condemns you to Hell. That's the problem I REALLY have here.

Aw, that was really nicely worded. :]
I have the highest respect for Buddhist Monks.
I don't understand why some people believe they should go to "hell".

Right. They are truly honourable concerning respect for life.
Jesus also saved when people said it was against the rules, even religious rules, because he saved a creature during the sabbath. The bible does not say Tibetan monks would have hell for their destiny. The bible does however say, judge a person by the fruit of his/her spirit, not by his words or his labels.
Peace be with you.
PS.- Another parallel issue tags along with this. People in general, modern society, often talk with an underlying assumption that species must have some kind of beneficial purpose in order for humans to consider them worthy to exist -- if there is no benefit, then the species survival doesn't matter at all. Can't species have their right to share the planet, the right to live, just because! Respect life !

I don't know who said hell was the destiny for these spiritual men. However, that is a stupid idea. We should be in awe of their compassion. Too bad humans don't treat each other like the Tibetins treat worms. I think we'd be better off, than being treated as humans usually do treat other humans.

We believe that all good comes from God, and that God is the author of Love. Is it not for us to dictate who will and will not spend eternity with God. We believe in a merciful and just God. To say what God will and will not do is to attempt to limit the limitless.

because they do not believe in God. why should you be rewarded with the gift God gives to us and not believe in it. for example. you see a child and their parents. this child is the most nicest and most respectful child you have ever SEEN*. BUT, this child has made straight F's all through high school. he/she doesn't get a crap about school or life in general. has sex with whom ever he/she prefers. he/she lies behind his or her parents back. and shoots up with his or her friends, then you see his or her parents buy their way through school, gets everything they want, and whatever their sweet, little hearts desire just because they are nice and respectful. what would you think?.........my point exactly.
