What would be a great Christmas present for a dog owner?

seen a great gift and just got it, a small light you clip onto your dogs collar but it only flashes at night when you are out with dog so let it run around and you cant lose him. remember dark at 4.30 now

First, you are the service provider, so the owner should be getting you a gift. You can give your customer a coupon for a free day or week of walking the dog. You could get them a photo of their dog enjoying a walk with you or playing in the yard. Dog owners love photos of their pets.

Take a picture of the dog if you can-- and if have a scanner and any photo software on your computer see the different edit options on the photo programs. I have a program that will change pictures into drawing, cartoons, coloring book, etc. Then mat and frame it yourself. Or if you are able to take a picture see if there are any local artists in your area and see how much they would charge to draw it, some artist may be very reasonable.

We have made home baked dog biscuits, wrapped them in pretty looking saran wrap with ribbons or put them in a holiday themed bag for our dog owner friends. It always goes over well, but takes a little effort. You can find all sorts of recipes online.

One gift I appreciate getting every year is a gift certificate to PetSmart. I have 4 dogs and a gerbil and some fish, so I shop there very often.

something from a unique petstore not just like petco..like from a holistic store, maybe like a little gift basket of some spa things like a balm for the dogs pads, special lotion for their fur, shampoo, and a spray deodorizer they make for dogs, organic dog treats, maybe a nice blanket. Or if your friends not really into the pampering stuff, then just something like one of those light up collars if shes a night walker.
