google for steel suppliers. Prices will vary based on alloy, heat treatment (mechanical properties), grade and quantity. In general, tool steels are most expensive because they contain more exotic alloying elements like Ti, V, Nb, W, Mo. Least expensive is probably mild steel and cast iron. good luck
