I believe the world will be best when everyone is practicing whatever faith (or no faith) they choose - and everyone is accepting of everyone else's choice.

I will say that many of the atheists I know are very intelligent. So - logically speaking - from what my experience has been - it would be nice to have a lot of INTELLIGENT people in the world. But really it wouldn't matter if they believed in God or not.

Namaste!

Love the cherry-making a choice on reaction! "consider approximately the entire wars now we have had over the beyond a hundred and fifty-ish or so years. the primary one began no longer lengthy after that, that is unusually whilst the bible stopped being taught" Ok, I simply needed to opt for this cherry. So on your evaluation, a hundred and fifty years is a ample time variety to bear in mind? What approximately the final a thousand years? Do they rely? How many persons had been slaughtered within the NAME of Christianity, in its quest to overrun many, many local devout practices the world over? Seriously. Take medieval historical past categories. Then take a few early American Lit categories -- you'll be able to see what horrendous crimes had been dedicated in opposition to persons right here in North America simply within the final 2 hundred to four hundred years who did not anything greater than train the religion in their ancestors...all within the title of Christianity. I additionally do not see the greater reason in a faith that expects that one acts out of worry of punishment. It turns out like not anything greater than a cosmic incentive chart. Do x, y, and z ample instances and also you get a fairly cool holiday! Do a, b, and c ample and you'll be able to be grounded, younger guy! If heaven and hell were not held over your head, could it appear as attractive to you? What approximately performing morally in view that it is correct, irrespective of what YOU finally attain from it ultimately?

No I don't think so, we would all just be going to hell in a hand basket, think about what you are saying, What countries are the third world countries today, muslim or hindu, they have all the oil yet they are the poorest and uneducated. Look at Communism, 80 to 90% illiteracy rate. And thats a fact. The most blessed country in the world has been America, the only Christian nation left on earth and we are fading fast. Europe is gone, only about 10% of europe goes to church now, churches are now being bought by muslims. Jesus Christ is the only true living God and his influence on the US has come because of our belief in him. Now as the US slowly turns her back on Christ you will see judgement begin. Missionaries say now that there are more christians underground in India or China than they are here. Fires, floods and famines is only the begining, the Bible says there will be earthquakes everywhere. Men will die because of fear, Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, the only way to heaven is thru Jesus. He is the way the truth and the Life. No man goes to the Father but by Jesus. You canbe. You can get right today, is Christ pulling or tugging at your heart as you read this, do you feel uneasy, just pray this Prayer and you canbe saved and start a new life with Jesus, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

No. I think the way Atheist's think from what I've seen tends to sound negative.

I believe in Jesus as my personal Savior and I think the world would be a better place if everyone came to the real Truth.

No, not everyone could handle being an atheist. I don't mind if people practice their religion in peace, as many do. I realize that now or in the past, religion is/was the only thing that has kept them from killing themselves.

No the world would be worse. If God is not involved then the world will fall. Look at the US we have turned our backs on God and we have gotten worse. Everything is becoming more corrupt with each passing day.

If everyone in the world was "atheist", we humans would find something else to argue about and declare war about.

And, atheists have no spirituality........don't believe in the nonsense of spirits or god thingies or anything else from that bible and other religious texts.

Tons of money is spent building and maintaining churches all over the world , while many people are homeless .
Uncountable hours are spent in praying and attending church service . That time could be put into production instead .
