i like this guy, he'd been showing signs he liked me for ages, he's real shy around me and he admitted it online finally when he found out i liked him, but before he found out, a coupla weeks ago he told this girl (who's a sort of friend of mine) that he likes her but she told him she doesn't like him back, they are best friends and she says he's just saying he likes me cause he finds it funny (but he's not that kind of guy)
i don't know if she's just jealous, because she's acting like the whole things a joke and why the hell would he like me...
but he says he no longer likes her, he likes me
and he may have just liked her because he thought he couldn't have me

I think youre right shes jealous and he might have tried liking her cuz he thought he just coudnt have you. She wants the attention now . Just talk to him ask him staright up, do you like me cuz i like you. Its the best way. To shut the damn bi**h up.

make a copy of what you just asked and put it in some kind of time capsule that you can't open for about twenty years. Then find it and say OMG I remember when I wrote this. Then read it. See if you can remember the guys name. You won't.

Yeah, i don't know if your friends being jealous, but i think that it could go either way--this guy really did like your friend, but once he found out that your friend didn't like him, and that you did, maybe he just automatically jumped to you, almost with fake feelings. Thats what i see, so be careful!

Sounds like he doesn't have a clue what he likes. Move on and find someone who has a maturity level above that of a six year old. I would be more inclined to believe what your friend says...

well usually when i find out a guy likes me and he's giving me attention, but i say i dont like him. then he stops giving me special attention. i get jealous.
even if i dont like him, so id say she's jealous.
that he stopped giving her attention.
