What are some techniques to improve my vocal range?

I have an average alto range but would like to improve it, what are some techniques to do so?

I have an alto range myself and I know how it can be. The trick is to practice your technique. The more comfortable you feel with your ranges, the easier it will be to move up. Your range will naturally expand as your technique improves. Just don't try to force your voice to go higher when you aren't ready, you will seriously hurt yourself.

to tell you the fact, straightforward scales and practice is the foremost. With scales, attempt them in distinctive octaves, and merely increasing your voice to make it the desirable that's. you could attempt training, yet those can get expensive. attempt making a song songs which you does not oftentimes attempt. gradually transition into distinctive ranges, yet be careful to not stretch your voice. something I do usually is tongue twisters, those help lots! :] good success!

Please seek advice and tutorage from a professional, maybe at school or junior college. You can damage your voice and if you are interested in singing professionally or at church you need to work with someone who knows what's going on.
