I am 5'7" too! When I looked it up on the chart for my ideal weight based on my height it stated that a 5'7" woman should weigh between 150-165 pounds. You are Not Fat you are actually 15 pounds underweight. If you still feel this way you could start to lift weights to build up your muscles because muscle actually weighs more than fat!! Any type of exercise you do is always good for your body! Staying active in sports is also a great way to keep yourself fit. Don't stress over your weight because you are far from FAT!

you are not fat, dont even say that. i am 5'9" and 130 but the reason i am at this weight is because i work out and and am active EVERYDAY. And even weight can vary because if you didnt know, muscles weight much more than fat and if some1 your height were really muscular, they could be 142-155. And if you are not happy with your body to be asking people if you are fat, then maybe just try some workouts to give you some more confidence. I wouldnt suggest body building unless you are really into a sport or so but just to keep you at the weight you are satisfied with. First of all, cardio is a great way to lose pounds. But since you are shooting for losing pounds, the better way of cardio would be the 'sprinting technique' where u would run say 1-3 miles doing cycles of sprints and walks. It is much more effective with weight loss than just jogging. And if you wanted to lose some pounds around the waist, just do some simple sit-ups. A good amout of those is 250-300 a day. Well good luck, and it really sounds like you dont need to work out so dont worry too much about it.

No, but, you sure are tall for your age. In fact, I think you are pretty thin. You could probably actually use to gain a few pounds. But, sometimes it is better to be just a tiny bit underweight (less risk of heart disease and other weight-related diseases when you get older). Just be careful to not turn anorexic and/or bulimic. I have worked in the hospital and seen what eating disorders can physically do to a person (bone fractures, menstrual disruption, hair loss, paper thin skin and finally, organ failure). It is a nasty thing to overcome. So, do not worry too much about your weight. Bone structure has a lot to do with how much a person should weigh. The more petite your bones, the less you should weigh. Excess weight on small bones will eventually take it's toll. It is best to actually ask a doctor what is a good weight for you because I cannot tell you for certain because I do not know your bone structure.

135 at 5'7" does not sound fat to me. The exercises that you need to do are really according to where you feel need addressing. You should probably do some core exercises and you will lose a few pounds and feel better. When you strengthen your core, your waistline will improve and you will use your core more than, say, your legs. (even when walking)

For an adult your body mass index is 21.1, middle of the normal range.
For a teen you need to give your date of birth to calculate this answer.
