How can you not believe that which exist, there are self proclaimed witches and warlocks out there, so it would not be a sin to acknowledge them. There is no such thing as a good witch, just as there are none that are good, no not one... that includes you and me. If you are not worshiping the the one true God, (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) you are indirectly or in some cases directly worshiping Satan.

The answer totally depends on your expectations of what a witch is.
Yes there are many people who self profess to being witch. For most, they see it as a path of following the laws of nature.
Why they call it witchcraft is because the church calls it witchcraft and they (for they most part) grew up in a Abrahamic society. But the ways of nature existed long before the church.
Yes there are people who follow or worship Satan. But many of them will tell you that they don't believe in Satan, just the anti church and self endulgant life style it provides.
Good or Evil totally depend from which side of the mirror your looking. Before you decide one way or the other do some research. Do a search on paganism.

Nice to meet you. I'm a witch. In my belief, there is no such thing as a "good" witch or an "evil" witch. There are just variances in the spectrum. I believe myself to be a caring, loving person, but mess with me and I will right the balance with the help of my gods. I don't even believe in satan, so why would I worship him? I don't worship anything. I honor my gods and ask them for assistance in my life. They do not need "worship."

Why are people so ignorant?

Yes witches do exist. They are either followers of Wicca, or follow a craft (its usually passed through famillies and keep their beliefs to themselves)

Warlocks don't exist. As it is just a made up name for male witches.

There are people who worship satan. There are two types of Satanist. Ones that don't believe in satan, and ones that do.

There are people out there that worship Satan, but they aren't witches. Witches are generally considered to be practitioners of the religion Wicca, which is a pagan religion. Is it a sin to believe that Wiccans exist? No, because they do. Doesn't mean you have to agree with them. It is generally a very peaceful religion and they don't do stuff like animal sacrifice or anything.

There are Wiccans....who are witches. They consider themselves good. a common tenant being that if they do harm it is revisited upon themselves three times worse.

There are pagans...who worship other gods and may/ or may not practice magic.

There are Satanists.

The Witch of the Bible and Malleus malificrum was a women in congress with the devil that cursed people. There doesnt seem to be anybody exactly claiming this dark descriptor.

well, some Pagan call themselves "witches" depending on the form their Paganism takes so yeah ... there are such things as witches. "warlocks"? nope. the word "warlock" is a made up for movies term.

cute Pagan maxim: all women are witches. men have to work at it.

the only Satanists i've ever met didn't believe in or worship Satan as an entity. they were anarchists who employed Satan as a symbol for rebellion against a corrupt system.
but i suppose there really are silly people who dress up in black & red costumes and solemnly chant incantations in an effort to manifest the Evil One.

THEY believed they have been, in basic terms as many do at present. extremely some the persons who have been burned have been additionally Christian, yet somebody held a grudge and that they stumbled on extremely some excuses to accuse them. A mole would desire to convince the powers that be that a individual became a witch. Even possessing a cat would be a impressive reason (subsequently the black plague). there are a number of so pronounced as "Christians" who would prefer to be certain us accomplished at present and that they have faith they are "authentic Christians". extremely some them look to dangle out in R & S!

There are Satanists about, but I'm a Pagan not a Satanist. Please bare in mind there is a difference as Pagans do not believe in an entity of all good or all evil.

So yeah. The mystery has been solved. Now get out of the house and enjoy the otherside of the fence for a little bit. For to know your path is to have been walking off of it to see where it is.
