There has yet to be one species of animal studied that has not displayed homosexual characteristics, excluding those that do not sexually reproduce.

Bugs and worms are animals.

So are molluscs, like snails, clams and squid, many species of which are not just gay, but actually hermaphroditic.

Amongst mammals, homosexual activity has been observed in almost every species.

The few species it hasn't been seen in are ones that are not well studied at all because they are rare or cryptic, meaning they probably have homosexual relations as well, we just haven't seen it.

There isn't a particular species that's solely gay... just like not all humans are gay. I'm sure that most species have members who are gay though. And yes it's natural... it isn't a choice and is something inherant in the individual so how can it not be? Love is natural.

Being gay is natural.

Do you think people would choose to be persecuted, denied legal protections against housing and employment discrimination, have your lover barred from visiting you in the hospital, higher taxes, and hundreds of other inequities?

IF.. (try to open yourself up to a hypothetical assumption here) If homosexuality is a choice, I ask you when did you choose to be heterosexual? When did you weigh the different options and come out of the closet as a heterosexual?

Bonobo (dwarf) chimpanzees are bisexual. So are some of the pan troglodyte chimps. Many primates have homosexuals.

Dolphins are another.

Friends of mine had a male cat who was homosexual.
