It's the idea that one attracts what thinks about.
Believe. Feel it in your bones.
Karma.
Thoughts, over time, manifest.
Name it, claim it.
Calling those things which be not, as though they were.

I will have a prosperous journey through life.
As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
Word of faith.
Etc.
When attached to the Work Ethic, the above works for many people.
When the Work Ethic is left out, the above works for less people.

A book and DVD about the power of positive thinking. The whole of it is predicated on a fantasy, something it likes to call the "law of attraction". It seems insignificant to them that no such law exists in nature, apart from gravity, which doesn't care about your thoughts one bit.

This is financially motivated Christianity, and a heresy to the principals of Christianity. It is similar to Hollywood Buddhism, where people chant to get parts in commercials and other nonsense. They are gutting the religions from anything they have positive to offer to the world.

The secret is creative visualization. It's not a 'secret' though but has been known about by mystics for centuries.

A friend mentioned this to me just last week.
She said that The Secret was a book instructing people on the correct way to pray & that it's supposed to work.
I haven't read it yet, but I believe I might. :)

A lame, cultish book that claims every desire you have can come to you with visualization.
My ex-friend believes in that s_ _ _.
Notice I said "ex". I "visualized" kicking her out of my life and I did LOL. Keep that sorry crap to themselves.

I am so tired of Oprah and her visualizations of our world. She doesn't deserve her influence over so many people nor the incredible amount of money she adores.
