It is a good program allowing these young people to get a taste of their homeland.
Or better put--their birthright.

For so many years through all kinds of hardship--the lament was "next year in Jerusalem". It is still heard around the world today..............

As I remember, Birthright has fairly some distinctive suggestions from which to opt for--you do not *have* to p.c.. the Israel exterior version. you may desire to to bypass to the Birthright website and notice--bypass to the link decrease than, and on the left-hand element of the internet site there's a drop-down field the place you could come across the suggestions (there are a pair of dozen).

Personally, I think it's annoying how they take over the whole country and kind of give other teen groups a bad name--I was with there with another group and everyone thought we were Taglit, and treating us like we were completely out of control co-eds....when in fact we were high school seniors on a diplomatic/educational trip...but those are just my person thoughts on the people in the program....I think it's a good program in its idea, I think. Getting Jewish teens to Israel...I wish it was more than just a "free trip" though...I wish there was a bit more to it....although not having been on it, I can't say much....but anything that reunites Jews and Israel is a good thing, I guess.

Peace

I will be going on the trip this March. I can't imagine why anyone would have a negative opinion of it. It gives many the opportunity to visit Israel, whom would otherwise have never gone. I for one am thankful.

I think it is a great program and a wonderful opportunity for many Jews who otherwise could not to really connect with the Land of Israel.

I would encourage anyone who was eligible to go.
