I have this problem: I am sooo gay. For some reason, it is affecting everyone else's relationship with God, because I have a "non-mainstream" sexuality.

So, my question is, can you fill my head with lustful feelings toward men, instead of undying love and a future with the girl that I love? That should make me less sinful, right?

Much love,
Cas

Dear Foxfire,

You are wrong regarding Sodom being a condemnation against homosexuality. The rabbinic tradition is unequivocal in regarding that the primary transgression of the city of Sodom was its treatment of outsiders, not of being homosexuals. The story of Gibeah (Judges 19) is nearly identical, but in this case it there is no homosexuality involved. Gibeah, likewise, was destroyed.

Get your facts straight.

No one can make you straight. If being straight is what you desire, I suggest counseling with a therapist, not a social worker, or anything else but a therapist.

If people are having a spiritual crisis because of your choices, then they do not really have a good relationship with God themselves. No one else can affect my relationship or how I feel about God, and I've been put through the wringer by church people.

God is merciful, and if you ask Him sincerely, He can help you make that transition you desire. You have to do the work, though. Only you and God know why you have chosen this path, and only God can heal you from within. I suggest therapy because there is much help that can come through a good therapist.

God bless you!

You are a lesbian. You vomit at the sight of "sexual poses" of men when you stumble late at night. The only men you find attractive are in their early to mid 70s i.e. my pappy and Ron Paul. I just don't think you have it in you to be straight.

I think it is hilarious that you are affecting other peoples relationships with God. It makes me laugh to see how many thumbs down honest answers get in the R&S section. It's also funny to me that athiests get a lot of thumbs down just for being honest and expressing their views. I don't think anyone or anything can really affect someone's PERSONAL relationship with God.

But, if it will make you feel any better, we can take down all the movie posters in our flat and replace them with "Teen Beat" cutouts of "Hot Boys." That'll either a, make you "straight" and I will cry so unbelievably hard (which I don't really think would happen... ever! or b, make us laugh so incredibly hard that we will take them down in 2.7 seconds.

Goodluck with everything, you little sinner.

Love always,
tyesa_x ... the girl for whom you previously had an undying love and and a future... aka "just" your flatmate

P.S. Does this mean that we are going to sleep in separate beds and that you won't hog all the covers at night and I won't wake up in the middle of the night because you are punching me? Just wondering..

I am not Christian but I am kind of an ugly woman, does that help?

Cause I know its all about the vanity and scoring just with the hot chicks isn't it?

;)
((Cas)) maybe it is just too mind blowing for some people to accept you as Jesus would.

"And God came down from the heavens and said
No woman shall love the vag
or firey flames of dooms will encompass their nether region."
-Leviticus 37:49-52

If that doesn't prove it to you, I don't know what will. See you in hell, Cas!

Edit: Foxfire, you mean God doesn't say the word 'vag'??? We must be reading different Bibles, man. Either way, I like mine better!

Clearly a little bit of baiting the masses here.

Your dear Christian friends cannot make that choice for you.

No, no matter what you do you will still be sinful, that is the point. We cannot earn our salvation, it is a gift, if you would only believe that Jesus is Lord and repent.

Do you want to be less sinful or straight? The two are not mutually exclusive... so what's your question?
