I am no fan of Labour but in the case of immigration they are following the diktat of the EU. as they do in most legislation that is introduced into this country. We are in effect ruled by those in Brussels. The original members of this abomination were our historical enemies, we fought them for centuries and usually won. Now it is payback time. They want to see the destruction of this country's culture, heritage and economy. This, and preceding governments have played right into their hands. If you look at the causes behind what ails this country you will find that the majority are as a result of EU directives. "The Human Rights" Act is another abomination, what was originally proposed as a means of protecting the individual became a gag on free speech, allows criminals to have more rights than victims, and gives the "thought police" the right to criminalise those who do not toe the line. Time to leave this fat cat gravy train, get our autonomy back, why are we allowing other nations to dictate how we live? Do not listen to parties hoping to gain power who say that they will look at these issues. A blind man can see what needs to be done. Joe Bloggs in the street can see what needs to be done. The real truth is they do not want to do anything, what a snivelling load of w*****s. We deserve better and it is time we let them know.

There is quite obviously no policy in operation by this government to deal with immigration,to halt immigration would have to be a new venture.

But it has to be done, And seen to be done,to shrug off what appears to be a general opinion would be a gross mistake.and a very costly one on the voting bill. Come next election.

Willow - you said it all perfectly. Anyone that gives you a thumbs down needs a good hard slap.

Ive always thought that in this day and age if you wanted to dominate europe would you roll out the tanks and soldiers like Hitler and Napoleon? No, you wouldn't. There is a modern day weapon far more devatating than anything Hitler could of come up with - Beauracracy!! It has done more than hitler did but without firing a shot. The pen really is mightier than the sword.

It is the Fault of of successive governments and Liberal Party members trying to attract votes by avoiding the truth.
If you invite people into your home then it is proper that those people are the ones whom we can trust living with.It is not wrong to choose ones Friends wisely. Even now Politicians are trying to deny that our country is in a mess. The wrong sort of people have populated our towns and cities having sneaked in illegally together with the many who should remain most welcome. Now we all suffer.

You will find that immigration laws have tightened up since July and only yesterday further amendments were implimented at the British Embassies abroad.Eventually these new rules will have effect. To those out their thinking they can settle in the UK easily forget it.

no. i believe their ineptitude. they are floundering in a sea of ineptitude. but this is what labour voters wanted. labour voters didnt want us to fend for ourselves, stand on our own two feet and work hard for what we wanted as we did in thatcher times. now labour voters have got immigrants that will come to this country, take our jobs and our houses and all of our money. then they will flee the sinking/ sunk ship. thanks labour.and labour voters. we are doomed
