Many religions are tolerant of homosexuality, particularly pagan religions; the ancient Greeks had no problem believing that Zeus could take a male lover. However the two biggest religions in the word (Christianity and Islam) both forbid it, as does Judaism. Of course those three religions all come from the same tradition (the Abrahamic tradition).

The position of Dharmic religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism is less clear, as their traditions tend not to discuss homosexuality as much as the Abrahamic religions.

It's arguable. There are sects in every religion that think it is okay. For example, in some Hindu views it is acceptable and in others it is not. In the Episcopal church they have gay clergy, but in your local Baptist church you'll get condemned. The most accepting religion is possibly Reformed Judaism in homosexuality or you can always go to a pagan group. Also unorganized religions are your friends

It's funny that Islam does condemn homosexuality, and often the penalties for it are severe - and yet Muslim boys in the Mid East are kept strictly apart from girls throughout their teenage years, so homosexuality is the rule. You see boys walking around holding hands everywhere, where such intimacy is never allowed between the sexes. The penalty is mainly on adult men who practice homosexuality, and then mainly the men who take the "passive" role.

Since no religion on the planet is uniform, it is not possible to answer your question with simple statements. Parts of Christianity do not condemn homosexuality. In my home state of New Hampshire, we have a gay Episcopal bishop, along with a number of gay priests.

The same is true of Islam, Baha'i, Hindus, Buddhists, Shintos, etc.

I am a Christian, but give special importance to the words and ministry of Jesus. He never forbade homosexuality. The other parts of the Bible condemning homosexuality seem to have been talking about ritualized gay rape, which was part of Greek and Roman culture. I don't think they were envisioning interior decorators living together in Soho.

Islam is the other big one. Orthodox Jews.
So basically, the big 3 monotheistic religions have homosexuality as an "abomination"

In Islam homosexuality is punishable by death. Judaism is similar to christianity. I don't think you'll find many religions that accept it. Buddhism is an exception... although it teaches that all bodily pleasures should be controlled, it doesn't discriminate against a certain sexuality and accepts that people will do as they please and no one should judge another. Aint buddhism great?
