How could Eve have Misqouted God.. She was Perfect, thus perfect hearing as well. The bible book of Genesis written By Moses under inspiration does Not qoute every word God spoke to Both Adam & Eve as if it be a diary. Can you Imagine the Bible saying On Day One..God told Adam to Walk over to the end of the garden and pick some ripe fruit. On day two, Adam and Eve were told to name the animals and thereafter go swimming.. Get Real.

Not Scripture but, yes, I think she misquoted God -- and that got her into trouble (and all the rest of us) as a result.

Gen. 3:2 "And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen. 3:3 "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die."

God did not say "neither shall ye touch it." Thus she opened the door to further deception from the devil.

Gen. 2:16 "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Gen. 2:17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

For oldguy63, above, the Bible does imply the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was also in the midst of the Garden:

Gen. 2:9 "And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil."

In addition, other Jewish writings (not accepted into the cannon of Scripture) state that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was within sight of the Tree of Life -- kind of a, if the Tree of Life is right there, why would you need (want) to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

God said not to take of the tree,
Eve added not to touch it, because it is radioactive

Yes, she added to it. God never said that they couldn't touch it, but only that they couldn't eat it. She also spoke of it as being in the middle of the garden, while the tree of life was in the middle of the garden.
