Baha'is are expected to refrain from sex outside of marriage (including homosexuality), intoxicating drugs and alcohol, and gambling.

Someone with a homosexual orientation could be accepted in the faith, but an openly gay lifestyle would not be considered appropriate. In other words, you would be expected to "work on it."

I found this...

and this...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahai

Sadly, both say that the Bahai religion does not accept homosexuality.

If you are looking for a church that DOES accept the LGBT community - you might look into Religious Science. I attend an RS church - and our minister is gay. We have ALL kinds of people at our church, old, young, families, singles, - and lots of non-hetero people - because it is one of the few churches where everyone's lifestyle - if it is love based - is accepted.

Our philosophy in regard to homosexuality is pretty simple - "God doesn't mistakes!! - And if what you're doing is not harming anybody - all is well."

Blessings to you on your journey. Always remember that God is within you in the form of love. That's who you are - pure love. More importantly than your age, your sexual preference, or your IQ - you are PURE LOVE!!

Namaste!!

No faith accepts practicing homosexuals because it is wrong and a sin against nature. What is the end result of homosexuality? Lack of breeding and the end of the human race.

i am a bahai,
and i can tell you that in the bahai faith homosexuality is not accepted, however we do believe that it is possible to overcome homosexulaity with the right help.

do not change religion to fit your lifestyle, change your lifestyle to fit your religion.

and remember..

'in the garden of thy heart plant nought but the rose of love'
-Baha'u'llah

best wishes...
